A Healthy Anti-Aging Strategy

1 2 3

Anti-aging isn’t just what you put on your skin. Yes, topical creams, serums, gels, and lotions may substantially benefit your complexion and smooth out wrinkles but then what happens to the inside of your body?

Staying healthy gets harder overtime when we age our cells become die off and your body just does not have the power to regenerate as it did before. It’s not an easy pill to swallow but we are all in the line when it comes to aging- it reaches us all at some point! That being said, efforts that are made as earlier as possible can help to sustain your body and prolong the life of your cells, bodily tissues, and overall function.

Aging Cells

Essentially, it is the aging and dying off of the cells that create change within the body; this highly contributes to the aging process. As we get older, our cells build up with fatty tissue, they become larger and inflammation prevents the cells from working as they should. It is the cells of our body that make up living tissue and enable our organs and fundamental systems to function as they should.

However, many things cause the body to age. The fundamentals of the aging process are complex and can involve several factors. We don’t all start aging at the same time; some people can look and feel great well into their 80’s and are still able to maintain their mobility. And other people begin to age fairly early in life, say around 60. As well as the natural process of cell abnormalities or cell death, other influences that impact the aging process and how we individually age include: genetics and hereditary illnesses or conditions, culture, diet and nutrition, exercise and rest.

Numerous other components relate to aging; such as social factors/conditions and the environment we live in. For instance, people that are poorer or from poorer backgrounds may age more quickly because they are not able to invest in their health or look after themselves as well as someone who is wealthy, and people that live in heavily polluted parts of the world may be more vulnerable to illness and disease.

Developing an Anti-Aging Strategy

Although there are some factors that we cannot change such as hereditary ones or previous illnesses, we can do our best to develop for ourselves an individual anti-aging strategy. And health does need a strategy, thought, planning, goals, action, and review.

So how can you develop an anti-aging strategy?

Firstly, treat yourself as the individual that you are. Of course, we are all human and our body functions in a certain way no matter what. However, according to different lifestyles, work, family, environment, health strategies will differ. Here are some very general tips for you!

  • Make the most out of health supplements that can support your cell function and body.

  • Focus on good nutrition and aim to eat well at least 80% of the time.

  • Cover up in the sun. The sun is life-giving but it is one of the biggest “agers” also. Spending too much time in the sun can burn and damage your skin and cause skin cancer.

  • Avoid toxins, chemicals, and pollutants. We are already exposed to external toxins and pollutants; our body does want more! It could be as straightforward as changing your chemically-enhanced laundry detergent to a more natural one or buying food that is organic and freshly grown.

  • Avoid smoke and excess alcohol- these are a big no-no for your overall health! Smoking and alcohol misuse (regularly drinking more than recommended daily/weekly limits) can speed up the aging process quite rapidly. And it is a fact that smokers do die younger.

  • Exercise, exercise, exercise! Staying active plays a crucial role in cell function and has a multitude of health benefits.

  • Sleep. Sleep ages the skin and body. Without adequate time to rest, your body cannot regenerate and repair itself. Sleep time is healing time.

We can all take some comfort in the fact that we are in this together! No one is immune to the aging process and the potential of illnesses, infections, and disease. What we can strive for though is a heightened understanding of what our body needs, and do our best to supply it.

BuckyLabs have developed products that can assist in our anti-aging strategies, better health, and longevity. Here are two products from their supplement range. C60 Olive Oil and Cycloastragenol:

Doubled Lifespan with C60 Olive Oil

Perhaps the most exciting longevity product available is C60 Olive Oil; C60 is called Buckminsterfullerene or “buckyballs”!

It is a perfect sphere of 60 carbon atoms with amazing anti-aging properties. It is a powerful antioxidant that acts at the mitochondrial membrane to eliminate free radicals.

C60 has a slight positive charge that attracts oxidative molecules and neutralizes them. C60 rapidly resets and keeps on working. When the cells of the body are relieved of the oxidative burden, they can once again function at peak efficiency and begin the repair.

Reported Benefits Include:

  • Protection against radiation damage

  • Increased liver health

  • Reduced pain and inflammation

  • Increased physical fitness/stamina.

  • Increased immunity

  • Anti-cancer agent

  • Increased healthy sleep

One prominent study, administering C60 to male rats, showed an unprecedented 90% increase in average lifespan. In its conclusion, the study states “C60 should be the most efficient ever material for extending lifespan”.  Although, the lead researcher, Professor Fathi Moussa, said that C60 is "absolutely not toxic"“ even taken "long term”, this product is still considered experimental.

Anti-Aging Benefits with Cycloastragenol

Cycloastragenol is a powerful extract of astragalus which is well known for its anti-aging properties. As we age, the protective ends of our chromosomes (called telomeres) deplete with every cell division. When they are short, the cell stops working properly and this produces inflammation and can promote tumor growth. But the good news is that telomeres can be lengthened with cycloastragenol, and thereby rescue old or dying cells

Because cycloastragenol addresses one of the root causes of aging—there are many purported benefits:

  • Improved immune system

  • Improved energy level, and exercise recovery time

  • Better, deeper sleep

  • Decreased inflammation

  • Decreased blood glucose levels

  • Fewer wrinkles, shinier hair

  • Better sexual performance

  • Improved vision

  • Improved lipid metabolism

  • Healthier skin, better mood
