Managing Diabetes Better

1 2 3

Type 2 Diabetes is a serious condition that affects the levels of sugar in the blood. If the sugar within the body cannot be used by the cells then it builds up in the bloodstream. This high and notable presence of sugar within the blood acts as a toxin in the body. If Type 2 Diabetes goes unmanaged or untreated, it can cause further health issues.

One of the most prominent ways of managing this type of diabetes is through diet and nutrition- essentially controlling the amount of sugar consumed. Lowering calories and carbohydrates in the diet will lower blood sugar.  Exercise and increasing activity levels are also a good way of helping to manage this condition. Many people with Type 2 Diabetes may struggle to manage their weight, and this can add a further burden onto the actual Diabetes and exacerbate the disease.

If you are overweight or obese or have a BMI (Body Mass Index) greater than 25, then you could be at risk of developing Diabetes.

Some of the most common symptoms of Type 2 Diabetes include: feeling thirsty often, wanting to go to the toilet more frequently to urinate, and feeling very tired/lethargic.

So how common is Type 2 Diabetes?

Type 2 Diabetes is extremely common. Presently, over 90% of Diabetes cases that are diagnosed are of the Type 2 modality. There is of course Type 1 Diabetes; however, this type varies significantly from Type 2.

Type 2 Diabetes has become increasingly prevalent in modern times due to our diet and to the rise of obesity and lack of weight management, and this can be largely due to the increased consumption of convenience foods that are often heavily processed and high in fat, salt, and of course, sugar! In fact, over the past two decades, the diagnoses of Type 2 Diabetes in the American population have more than doubled! A very scary and sobering thought!

However, the good news is that Type 2 Diabetes can be managed and managed well with the right support. The important takeaway here is that lifestyle changes are vital to control Type 2 Diabetes and the earlier you act- the better!

As modern science progresses, more can be done to manage this condition through medication and supplements, as well as through the necessary lifestyle changes.

Lysulin Inc. has taken strides forward in helping people to control their Diabetes. The CEO and Founder of Lysulin is Dr. John Burd. He is also the founder of and the first CEO of DexCom. DexCom is the world leader in continuous glucose monitoring; they are now helping 2 million people worldwide to better manage their diabetes without any finger-sticks.

In 2017, Dr. Burd started a new company, Lysulin, Inc., to further his crusade to help people with Type 2 diabetes, prediabetes, & those at risk of developing diabetes. The company’s first product, Lysulin, was launched in January 2018 and the published clinical testing results have been outstanding!

“Along with lowering blood glucose (like all type 2 drugs -working on the symptom, which is high blood glucose), Lysulin is targeting a new disease mechanism and the cause of diabetes which is protein glycation and the production of  Advanced Glycation Endproducts - AGEs (the cause of insulin resistance and disease complications). The improvement in glycemic control as measured by HbA1c reduction is equal to or better than most current Type 2 drugs! A clinical study on prediabetes showed that Lysulin improves insulin resistance and beta-cell function and slows or halts the progression from Pre-Diabetes to Type 2 diabetes”-Lysulin Inc.

Historically, supplements have had a bad reputation because many of them made unsubstantiated claims in the past. Conversely, Lysulin is firmly grounded on a foundation of 25 years of R&D and clinical studies published in peer-reviewed publications proving that the ingredients in Lysulin will lower blood glucose and the production of glycated proteins and AGEs. More clinical studies by independent investigators are underway to substantiate the results of earlier studies.

The Harmful Effects of Glucose

While we all need glucose for energy production, it is not appreciated that glucose in your bloodstream is potentially like poison. It adversely reacts with all life-giving proteins, and this affects how these proteins are intended to work. As these undesirable “Glycated Proteins” increase, A1C levels rise along with the risk of insulin resistance (due to glycation of insulin and insulin receptors) and damage to your heart, blood vessels, kidneys, and eyesight.

How Lysulin can help!

  • Lysulin acts as a guardian by binding to glucose to form glycated-Lysulin- shielding your proteins from the reaction with glucose.

  • The glycated-Lysulin is then safely removed from the body through your urine. Lysulin provides all-natural nutritional support to help people control their Diabetes.

  • Lysulin is available as chewable tablets, capsules, liquid, a once-a-day powder, and a new Lysulin Weight Loss Meal Replacement for weight loss and better diabetes management.
