After several days trying this tea every which way I can think of, I am overall impressed. It is very easy to steep, my favorite way simply with lots of leaves and water at about 180-185 degrees. I've tried a variety of steep times, up to 8 minutes(!) and surprisingly, the tea does not become bitter. Very nice daily drinker.

For those who don't know this tea in the USA (which, speaking as a former tea buyer specializing in Taiwanese High Mountain Oolongs, virtually no one does): it's so special. Less hearty than the oolongs, but more flowery and ethereal. Wants a good long brew to come out fully, and I'm finding the second brew to be the most compelling.

We think happy, healthy chickens taste better. Our certified USDA Organic chickens are humanely raised in conditions that foster healthy and natural chicken behavior including access to the outdoors, direct sunshine and ample space for grooming and exercise. In addition, our birds are never given growth hormones or antibiotics.
WHY ARE THE MEALS FROZEN?
We freeze our food so that we never have to use preservatives or shelf stabilizers.
DO THE MEALS CONTAIN MSG OR ANY ARTIFICIAL INGREDIENTS?
No. Our foods are only made with organic ingredients and never contain MSG, high fructose corn syrup, artificial colors and flavorings, hormones, or antibiotics.
