POMEGRANATE is a popular fruit.  Pomegranate juice contains antioxidants at higher levels than other fruit juices; especially polyphenols, anthocyanin and hydrolysable tannins, which possess strong anti-tumor properties. Pomegranate juice is claimed to be effective against heart disease, high blood pressure, inflammation, and some cancers (including skin cancer.) When pomegranate juice is ingested and applied directly to the skin, it may inhibit the growth of skin cancer. Pomegranate is also a good source of fiber. In some studies, researchers have found that pomegranate juice can lower systolic blood pressure by up to 30 percent. A study published in the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry actually found that pomegranate juices contains an antioxidant activity three times higher than red wine and green tea.

 

 

LEMONS fight cancer. Lemons contain 22 anti-cancer compounds, including flavonol glycosides, which stop cell division in cancer cells. Lemon is natural energizer; it hydrates and oxygenates the body so it feels revitalized and refreshed!
