3 Top reasons your skin is dry

Dry skin does not just happen because the weather gets too hot or too cold. Many people have dry skin through the year and there are several reasons why this may happen. Our skin is exposed to numerous environmental stresses and loses its ability to maintain water, when skin is dehydrated wrinkles can form. And that ... that we don’t like…

The 3 reasons:

1. Low or no humidity. Fallowing the same skin care routine year round may not work so well when humidity drops. When your body is thirsty, it needs water. Unfortunately, drinking eight glasses of water a day isn’t enough to hydrate your skin. To hydrate your skin you have to add water and oils from the outside in. The solution is to moisturize the skin as often as possible by using rich, healthy, organic ingredients and moisturizers.

To treat dry skin look into the fallowing ingredients:

Organic Shea Butter contains Vitamins A, E & F and has been used for hundreds of years to protect, heal and beautify the skin! Make sure to use pure organic Shea butter that has not been treated with chemicals to refine it. The vitamins in Shea butter work together to hydrate, soothe and balance the skin. It also contains fatty acids that protect and revitalize damaged skin.

Organic Jojoba Oil is the ONLY oil that is similar to human sebum. It tricks your skin to accept the oil and helps skin to regulate a balanced oil production! Jojoba oil rejuvenates your skin and promotes new cell growth. Your skin rapidly absorbs the oil making it soft and youthful. It restores skin suppleness and promotes skin elasticity.

Organic Coconut Oil: Unlike acids used in other cosmetics that quickly oxidize and turn bad, causing free radical cell damage, lauric acid found in coconut oil stays fresh for longer. This also means that coconut oil is packed with antioxidants, along with the medium chain fatty acids that actually help build cells rather than destroy them. This is good news for younger looking skin. Using coconut oil regularly helps build and repair skin, actually slowing down the development of wrinkles!

Organic Argan oil: protects the skin against wrinkles appeared due to premature aging. It also helps reduce the appearance of crow’s feet (wrinkles under the eyes). It is a very good remedy for dry skin. It freshens and softens the skin more readily than any other skin creams or oils do. Protein rich Argan oil is very good for the elasticity of skin. It strengthens the protein bonding structures in the skin, which work to tighten the skin and makes it look fresh. Additionally, Argan oil is good for reducing skin irritation as it quickly heals the marks caused during scratching of the skin. One of the most amazing facts about Argan oil is that along with dry skin it is equally good for oily skin. Sebum is an oily substance secreted by sebaceous glands, which keep the skin, wet and protected against dryness however, its excess secretion can also be bad for the skin. Luckily Argan oil regulates the secretion of sebum and keeps it to a manageable level.

Organic Evening Primrose Oil: Rejuvenates tired and aging skin and can make tired eyes look fresher. Removes redness and minor blemishes and can help dry skin feel suppler and younger. It can be massaged into dry skin to make it smoother and silkier and to reduce and remove fine wrinkles.

Organic Honey: Honey is naturally antibacterial and full of antioxidants also known to slow aging. It is extremely moisturizing and soothing!

Vitamin E has long been known for its anti-aging properties and it also increases the shelf life of face creams.

2.Your skin is ageing. Maturing skin needs extra help when it comes to avoiding dryness. As we get older, our skin produces fewer oils and causes dead skin cells to shed less often. The result is flaky, dull and rough skin. We recommend trying anti-aging moisturizers or hydrating face creams like Bella Organics™ Jasmine & Honey Hydrating Face Cream, which are richer and may offer the skin added benefits. Take a pearl sized amount with clean fingers and apply gently to a cleansed face, patting the cream lightly unto your face. After the cream melts on your skin, dab lightly around the eyes, avoiding the orbital bone. Since Love Bella Organic has no added water, estrogen mimickers or any synthetic chemicals this cream is a great value and is long lasting. Do not apply to skin like conventional creams. A very small amount is sufficient to hydrate the skin! Succulent Jasmine has a wonderful floral aroma that is soothing and calming. Organic honey attracts and holds moisture-leaving skin soft and supple.

3. Over-washing with harsh soaps. One of the most common factors causing dry skin is frequent application of harsh soaps. Hot baths and showers can also dry out your skin, so reduce the temperature or spend less time underwater. When your skin is dry, be sure to wash it with a gentle, organic cleanser.

The solution: Apply enough cleanser to remove dirt and oil, but avoid using too much. Apply moisturizer immediately after washing. You can also try moisture-rich products like the Caribbean Coconut Body Butter. This is Love Bella’s Organics - 100% organic luxurious body butter with its main ingredient being Shea butter; one of the best moisturizing, anti-aging natural products in the World!

It protects your skin from UV sunlight, harsh climate, and dehydration and pollution damage. The fatty acids in Coconut oil help reinforce the skin's natural lipid barrier; this locks moisture in the skin, promoting hydration. Apply a small amount of body butter unto skin and rub in. Reapply as often as needed! The delicate tropical coconut scent is irresistible and will surly be your “tropical paradise” in a jar!
